In this curriculum project, the children developed their knowledge and understanding of what the Ancient Egyptians believe. The children learnt about the Egyptian creation story and how the pyramids were built. They could identify the challenges of building the pyramids. 

How did the achievements of the Maya civilisation influence their society and beyond?

In this curriculum project, the children developed their knowledge and understanding of Ancient Maya beliefs and cities. The children sequenced the key periods of the Ancient Maya civilisation and identified periods that were happening in Britain at the same time. The children also learnt about the Ancient Maya and how they settled in the rainforest and the challenges they faced.
