Biology - Animals and Including Humans

During this science project, we discussed the organs of the digestive system. We then learnt about the types of teeth and their functions. We ended the project by creating food chains and food webs.

Physics - Forces and Magnets 

As part of this project, we have learnt about the contact and non-contact forces. We used a range of objects to test how they moved on different surfaces. We then conducted an experiment to test if magnets are magnetic or non-magnetic. 

Living Things and their Habitats

As part of this project, the children have researched different habitats there are and how they are different. We then also classified animals using a classification key. We visited the school pond to see what pond plants were there and classified those. 

Biology: Plants 

During this project, we have studied the life cycle of a plant, understood what plants need to grow and learnt about the pollination process.
