Mechanics - Pneumatic Toys

In this design and technology project, the children explored pneumatics to understand how pneumatic systems are made. They designed a toy that used a pneumatic system and tested it against their design criteria.

Textiles - Fastenings

In this design and technology project, the children have created their own book sleeve. They have then developed the sewing techniques to decorate and stitch a fastening onto it.

Electrical Systems- Torches

In this design and technology project, the children learnt about electrical items and how they work. They then analysed and evaluated electrical products. Once the children had evaluated they designed a product to fit a set of specific user needs. The children created their torch and tested it.
