Blackrod Remembrance Service 2015
On Remembrance day, Year 6 represented Blackrod Primary School at the local Remembrance service.
We laid our handmade wreath and crosses marked with the names of the WW1 soldiers of Blackrod.
Led by Miss Pemberton, we sang the song 'We will remember them' alongside the Year 6 class from Blackrod Church School.
Finally, the Poppy sculpture we designed during our WW1 Heritage week was unveiled and presented to the community!
We represented our school with pride!

We attended the book launch at Blackrod Library and the Mayor of Blackrod presented us with a copy of the book. Alongside the Year 6 children from Blackrod Church School, we performed our song 'We will remember them' to members of the community and the heritage group.
